Flow Training

For training schedules and more info, please see our training web page.

In addition to our help section, user forum, and other informational resources, we have curated educational materials designed to provide a structured learning experience. These materials follow a logical progression, guiding users through a cohesive journey with practical examples.

For those who prefer a self-paced approach, we offer self-paced training, allowing users to progress through the material at their speed. Alternatively, we provide a Teacher-led, hybrid model where scheduled classes are conducted, and an online teacher is present to facilitate a smooth learning journey. This hybrid model combines the advantages of structured class sessions with the flexibility of online learning, ensuring that users receive support and guidance when needed.

The training material, which consists of exercises, exams, interactive slides, voice, video, and text explanations, is hosted on a dedicated platform for the purpose. This also lets the students pick up from where they left off seamlessly. The material is the same for the self-paced and the scheduled teacher-led training.

The workflows and portals created during the training are done in dedicated Flow training environments provided by Novacura. Students will have access to this environment for at least six months following the training, allowing them ample time to transfer any necessary components to their Flow environments.

Self-Paced Training

Price: the self-paced training is free for subscription customers.

If you already have experience with Flow or feel confident in your development skills, self-paced training allows you to progress at your speed. Accessible at your convenience, but you must refer to forums or online help for additional clarification. There will be no teacher present to answer questions or get you started, but the material is the same as for the teacher-led training.

Scheduled teacher-led training

Price: around $500 per training and person, see our training page for exact info per training.

Designed for beginners or those desiring structured guidance, scheduled teacher-led training provides a classroom-like setting. A teacher guides you through the content, answers questions, and delves into real-world scenarios. This option is beneficial for comprehensive understanding and interaction.

The trainers and trainees meet in Microsoft Teams to get acquainted and introduced to the training platform and environments and ensure everyone has the necessary resources for a smooth start.

The Teams channel remains open throughout the day for questions and discussions. The teacher actively oversees each trainee's progress to ensure a successful learning experience.

Before the lunch break, a recap session is conducted to facilitate discussions, gather feedback, and set targets for the day's training, ensuring everyone starts the next day on the same page. This hybrid approach, combining self-paced and teacher-led elements, harnesses the best of both worlds. With a mix of faster and slower-paced trainees, everyone can progress comfortably at their speed, eliminating stress and boredom. Simultaneously, participants retain the valuable option to interact with the teacher, listen to questions from peers, and engage in discussions centered around the product.

Typically, the training day(s) would look something like:

Tailormade training

For different needs, you might want tailor-made training that fits your needs. Historically this has been in conjunction with project kick-offs, staff rotation, or when there are other specific needs for training.

Price: The teacher by billable hours, including preparations, execution, travel expenses, etc. Reach out to us for a discussion about the specific needs for a quote.

How to sign up?

Register a ticket in our support system, providing what type of training you would prefer, email to the participants, and if teacher-led, what dates you would like to participate.

Before the training you will receive an invite email from "support@mg1.edapp.com", have the participants look out for that (checking spam folder and "other" tab in Outlook). It will contain their username and password to the training platform we use, and will look something like this:

You do not need to download the apps since we will be running this from a PC anyway. So use the link indicated by the red arrow above, and log on with the username and password you received in the email.

Once logged on to the training platform (EdApp), there will be more information about what you will need in preparation for the training, and how to log on to our dedicated training environments.
